description

A youth soccer tournament that pitches neighborhood against neighborhood. CSM already has teams in East Chattanooga, East Lake, and Alton Park, and this would give other neighborhoods a chance to come out too.

why

why should people support this cause

Increase Chattanooga’s sense of community by forming teams within your own neighborhood, and then engaging in friendly competition with teams from other neighborhoods within the city. Gain a greater sense of pride in our city! A great way to get kids out and active, and to unite neighborhoods together in a friendly competition.

The Neighborhood Cup starts at 9:00 a.m. THIS Saturday! They will no longer be holding any games on Friday due to weather. If you'd still like to volunteer, they could use volunteers early in the morning.
UTC Volunteer Opportunity?

Do you all need any volunteers during the month of March? I have an honors club at UTC that needs to serve a certain number of community service hours. These are all very responsible juniors and seniors.
March and April Opportunities

Suzy - are you familiar with 48Hour Launch? One of the organizations on our site, The Company Lab, is putting on the event this weekend. http://colab.is/what-we-do/projects/48hour-launch/ Since the event is 48 hours, they might be looking for help setting up on Friday or throughout the event this weekend.

There are a few great opportunities in April, so please check out MakeWork's 10x10 cause and RiverCity Company's Clean & Green cause. Both are looking for volunteers!

I'll see if Chattanooga Sports Ministries has anything coming up as well!
