A youth soccer tournament that pitches neighborhood against neighborhood. CSM already has teams in East Chattanooga, East Lake, and Alton Park, and this would give other neighborhoods a chance to come out too.

why should people support this cause
Increase Chattanooga’s sense of community by forming teams within your own neighborhood, and then engaging in friendly competition with teams from other neighborhoods within the city. Gain a greater sense of pride in our city! A great way to get kids out and active, and to unite neighborhoods together in a friendly competition.

Let's have a neighborhood youth soccer tournament at the new Highland Park Commons fields in Highland Park!
Neighborhoods put together a team of boys and a team of girls, they are paired with a CFC player to help coach, and come to the Highland Park Commons in Mid-march to compete against other neighborhoods. The winning team gets the Neighbor Trophy to keep until next year.
Details:
Team size: up to 10 kids, play 6 on the field at a time
Ages: 10-13
Boys bracket and girls bracket
Date: March 3, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
