To repurpose the vacant, unused 1930’s built East Lake Elementary School, through the nonprofit, OPEN in East Lake. Its purpose will not be as a community center or resource center but as vibrant space for connection, community and empowerment.

Build a foundation to launch our vision.
1. Inform about the vision- Create a web presence, produce social networking venues, embed film resources to communicate vision, in bilingual formats

2. Create a funding platform for the vision- Propose, plan and create a variety of funding platforms for OPEN.

• Specifically, apply for funding through web funding platforms. i.e. Kickstarter, IndieGoGo
• Begin to plan and apply for funding through local foundations. i.e. Chattanooga Community Foundation, Cornerstone
• Begin to create and plan a local fundraising event

3. Reimagine the vision- Create architectural renderings or illustrations (drawing or virtual) of the 1930’s East Lake Elementary school from panoramic photographs
