Chattanooga Cultural Connection connects children to language by hosting a program that extends the reach of foreign language learning and cultural awareness to children with the goal of building a community of globally-minded, locally-focused leaders. Language is the very essence of connectivity. Relationships are limited with communication. Whether it’s through movement, writing, dancing or speaking, language of all kinds is the root of personal expression and connection with others. In recent years, Chattanooga has welcomed the arrival of international companies, such as Volkswagen, Alstom and Wacker. The strength of American businesses in the increasingly global marketplace requires individuals who speak other languages and have knowledge of other cultures. Chattanooga Cultural Connection is equipping youth to be globally-minded, locally-focused leaders as the international influence in the city continues to grow.
