Rivermont School Fan Club is a group of parents, community members, church leaders, retirees, and young adults rallying to improve their neighborhood’s public school. The fan club knows that a healthy and high-performing public school would encourage all of the diverse residents in the school district to let their kids learn together, creating unity in the neighborhood as a whole.
They have already hosted a volunteer clean-up and landscaping day at the school, raised money to donate 20 new Chromebooks to support STEM learning, and helped the school purchase a new sign. They continue to build relationships with the students, teachers and leadership at Rivermont Elementary to look for any opportunity to support the school.
